The past few days have left Casper residents feeling like they live in the Pacific Northwest.  Heavy rains settled upon Casper and brought a welcomed amount of precipitation.  Casper Mountain received ample moisture, evidence of that moisture is now roaring over the Garden Creek Falls.

It has been a while since I have seen water rushing over the falls like this.  I can remember summers when the water coming over the falls was nothing more than a trickle.  It is absolutely lovely to see this sight.  The Garden Creek Falls can be a sheer spectacle when the creek is running high.  I highly encourage everyone to go see it for themselves before Casper plunges into its dry season.  The video is awesome, but falls in comparison to experiencing the sight first hand.
