Remembering The Notorious B.I.G. [VIDEO]

Today is somber moment for me. March 9th, 1997 commemorates the anniversary of the day The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed in Los Angeles at the tender of 24 at the height of his career. With only one album released before his death, Ready To Die, he was in California to promote his new album when he was murdered.

Born Christopher Wallace in New York City, Biggie first burst onto the scene with Tupac Shakur. After Pac's release from prison and being shot, some tension arose between the two Hip-Hop powerhouses. Although Pac was murdered about 6 months before, in Bigs last interview, he stated:

I would never wish death on anybody. There's just no coming back from that."

The late great Frank White aka Biggie Smalls will always live on through his music. R.I.P. to a legend.
