Rick Ross adds yet another layer to Rihanna and Chris Brown’s infamous ‘Birthday Cake’ remix. The original song, which was a mere 78 seconds long, is extended to over four minutes with this new version, which opens with Ricky Rozay’s rhymes.

Having Ross on a remix makes sense for the Bajan beauty, who shares a slot on her Def Jam label with the grizzly MC and was recently spotted taking in one of his shows in New York City.

While the original and Breezified remix of ‘Birthday Cake’ are raunchy, Ross doesn’t add to the bedroom romp raps. Instead, as he’s prone to do, he talks money, which is just as sweet as dessert. Ross drops lines about smoking onstage, Lenny Kravitz’s estate and his jet setting lifestyle. While his flow fits in with the sonics of the song, the themes don’t quite blend with anything he’s saying.

The rest of the track is identical to the original remix, complete with rapping and singing from both Breezy and RiRi. Do you like this version better? Listen below!
