Sheriff’s Office Looking For Escaped CRC Inmate

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is investigating the escape of a man from the Casper Re-Entry Center on Monday night.

Basil Medina, 55, was reported missing from the CRC, 10007 Landmark Lane, about 10:35 p.m., Sgt. Aaron Shatto said Tuesday.

In February 2013, Medina pleaded guilty to one felony count of grand larceny, according to court records.

He was sentenced to three to five years in prison in April 2013. He already had spent 264 days in jail at the time of his sentencing.
