INCREASING SOUTHWEST WIND LATER WEDNESDAY...

THE APPROACH OF AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND AN ASSOCIATED DRY

FRONT FROM THE WEST WILL INCREASE BOTH THE SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT

ALONG WITH WINDS ALOFT BY MID AFTERNOON ON WEDNESDAY.

THIS WILL RESULT IN WEST TO SOUTHWEST SURFACE WINDS INCREASING TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO 55 MPH POSSIBLE BY MID AFTERNOON WEDNESDAY.

WINDS WILL LIKELY DECREASE SOMEWHAT ACROSS THE LOWER ELEVATIONS BY EARLY WEDNESDAY EVENING...A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER IN THE MOUNTAINS.

THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE LIKELY TO OCCUR FROM THE SOUTH PASS AREA...EAST ACROSS NORTHEASTERN SWEETWATER COUNTY...EASTERN FREMONT COUNTY AND WESTERN NATRONA COUNTY...PARTICULARLY OVER THE AREAS MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS.
