One of the first big events of 2019 will happen in the sky over Casper starting the night of January 20. It's a super blood wolf moon eclipse and it is gonna be spectacular if you're willing to stay up late enough to see it.

The NASA website has all the technical details about this special lunar eclipse. I'll summarize for you here about what it all means.

According to USA Today, the super blood wolf moon eclipse will begin around 7:36 pm Casper time on January 20. By 8:34 pm, the partial eclipse will begin. It will reach its totality around 10:12 pm over Casper.

NASA put together a nifty map showing the areas that will be able to see the entire lunar eclipse and that includes us and all of America.

What's so special about this event? It's rare that a super blood wolf moon coincides with a lunar eclipse, as Tech Times shared.

Now, we just need to hope/pray for clear skies the night of January 20.
