Crime of the Week

On Friday March 11th, at 11:21 in the evening, a dark colored SUV was traveling southbound on South McKinley Street. The SUV left the roadway and struck the front side of the residence at 2128 S. McKinley Street. The vehicle then fled the scene.

Sometime between February 2nd and 4th, February 15th and 16th and again on February 25th, nine train horns were stolen from BNSF Railway. The horns were on trains parked in the area of 888 Antler Drive. The total value of the horns is $7,155.00.

Sometime between February 9th and February 13th, 2016, an unknown suspect entered into a residence at 16055 Central Park Avenue in Natrona County and took several items. Those items included a queen size mattress, tire chains, new bathroom cabinets and a 12-gauge shotgun, totaling $1800.00.

Casper residents once again have been victim of their vehicle windows being shot out by BB Guns. Over the weekend, nine reports were taken by the Casper Police Department involving these types of crimes.

Sometime in the evening hours of January 24th, 2016, two snowmobiles were taken from behind Burback Refrigeration located at 500 West 1st Street.

The Casper Police Department would like to remind people to be very cautious about leaving your running vehicle unattended during this cold weather. Leaving your vehicle unattended allows criminals easy access to stealing your vehicle.

On Monday December 21st, 2015, at 2:05 PM, a green over tan Ford SUV slid on the icy roads and struck a parked green 2002 Ford Escort in the area of West 18th and South Oak. The Ford SUV then left the area. The SUV will have passenger side damage.

On October 19th, 2001, at approximately 1:00 am, Danny Moser was found by a Mills Police Officer lying in the parking lot of the Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink in Mills.

On December 22nd, 2015 at approximately 8:45 in the morning, an unknown white male subject with short brown hair, wearing a red and grey checkered flannel jacket, took a wallet out of a cart at the west side Wal-Mart location.

Sometime in the evening hours of October 18th, 2015, an unknown individual vandalized a Casper Police Officer's personal vehicle.

The Casper Police Department would like to inform citizens it has a hit and run investigator.

In the late hours of September 26th, 2015 or the early morning hours of the 27th, unknown subjects vandalized vehicles in the 2500 block of South McKinley.
