Crime Stoppers would like to remind people school is back session. Please be mindful of all crosswalks and school zones. Make sure to obey school bus lights and watch for kids exiting and entering the school buses.

This summer, there have been a lot of graffiti reports that have come in. The graffiti has appeared on both businesses and private residences. Some of this graffiti has caused permanent damage.

Detectives with the Casper Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating evidence from a residential burglary. The item is a black FN semi-automatic handgun. The handgun was possibly dropped in the street between Robin St. and Utah Ave.

On Sunday July 20th, 2014 at 5:10 in the morning, a bicyclist was traveling east on CY Avenue, near the area of Paradise Drive. An unknown vehicle struck the bicyclist with the passenger side mirror. The collision caused the bicyclist to crash. The driver of the vehicle continued driving and did not stop.

Between July 25th and August 3rd, the Casper Police Department took several property damage reports. The property damage took consisted of windows being broken out of businesses and vehicles. It appeared a bb gun had been used to cause the damage to the windows.

The Casper Police Department is asking for your assistance in locating Mark Allen Belanger. Belanger is a suspect in a forgery and several burglaries in the Casper area.

Between July 1st and July 22nd 2014 the Casper Police Department took 34 auto burglary reports. A majority of these auto burglaries occurred on the west side of Casper. Casper Police Department would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles.

On Friday June 27th at 2:35 in the afternoon, a dark colored Dodge Mega Cab pickup, pulling a white camper struck two overhead signs at the Eastridge Carwash, causing damage to the signs. The vehicle then left the area.

On Monday June 23rd, it was discovered that several headstones at Highland Park Cemetery had been vandalized with black paint. The vandalism occurred sometime the previous night or weekend.

On Friday, June 27th between 9:00am and Noon, someone committed smash and grab auto burglaries in the parking lot of the Casper Recreation Center. Vehicle windows were broken out and valuable items stolen from inside the vehicles.

On Sunday, June 8th, 2014 at about 4:30pm, a grey Ford pickup with tinted lamp covers and black wheels drove off of F Street and through a fence at 2000 E. F Street. The driver was possibly a white male with a beard. The driver fled the scene after striking some vehicles and equipment causing thousands of dollar in damages.

On Sunday morning (June 8th, 2014) at about 4:00am, there was a report of shots fired near the intersection of 15th and McKinley. Multiple rounds struck the convenience store at the intersection. Police are asking for anyone with information about this crime to come forward.
