Over the past few weeks, several motorcycles have been stolen in the Casper area. These motorcycles have been in the back of truck beds, on trailers and also parked in front of residences.
On July 29th, an unknown white female re-used the lost check of an elderly blind woman to purchase items at the east side Wal-Mart. The check, which was originally written for $10.33 was changed to read $183.77.
On Saturday, August 20th, at approximately 5:50 in the morning, an unknown GMC vehicle struck the rear end of a black 2013 Ford Taurus, parked in front of 165 Indian Paintbrush.
On August 13th at approximately 1:24 in the morning, officers responded to 125 E. 2nd Street, Lou Taubert’s Ranch Outfitters, for a business burglary. Upon arrival, officers found glass broken out of one of the front doors of the business.
Facebook accounts are getting hacked. Facebook users are notified they have won money. When the user responds, they are advised they need to send a certain dollar amount to an account in order to receive their winnings. This is a scam!
On July 27th, several residences in the 3500 block of Aspen Lane reported their properties had been vandalized with white spray paint. Images of flower faces and boxes with lines were painted on the properties.
Sometime between June 11th and 12th, an air compressor and several construction tools were stolen from a trailer parked 6752 Rogue River Road. The stolen items value exceeds $10,000.
On Wednesday, June 15th at 9:25 in the morning, a green colored SUV, similar to a Nissan Pathfinder, ran a stop sign at East 2nd Street and South Jackson.
