Detectives with the Casper Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating evidence from a residential burglary. The item is a black FN semi-automatic handgun. The handgun was possibly dropped in the street between Robin St. and Utah Ave.

Between July 25th and August 3rd, the Casper Police Department took several property damage reports. The property damage took consisted of windows being broken out of businesses and vehicles. It appeared a bb gun had been used to cause the damage to the windows.
Between July 1st and July 22nd 2014 the Casper Police Department took 34 auto burglary reports. A majority of these auto burglaries occurred on the west side of Casper. Casper Police Department would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles.
On Friday June 27th at 2:35 in the afternoon, a dark colored Dodge Mega Cab pickup, pulling a white camper struck two overhead signs at the Eastridge Carwash, causing damage to the signs. The vehicle then left the area.
On Friday, June 27th between 9:00am and Noon, someone committed smash and grab auto burglaries in the parking lot of the Casper Recreation Center. Vehicle windows were broken out and valuable items stolen from inside the vehicles.

On Sunday morning (June 8th, 2014) at about 4:00am, there was a report of shots fired near the intersection of 15th and McKinley. Multiple rounds struck the convenience store at the intersection. Police are asking for anyone with information about this crime to come forward.
During the last few weeks, there have been multiple thefts of copper wire in the Casper area. Welding leads were stolen off of welding trucks and wiring supplies stolen out of construction trucks. The thefts are believed to be related.
