James Todd Smith who is known to the world at large as LL Cool J (which is an acronym for Ladies Love Cool James), has quite the illustrious career that spans almost 3 decades and covers a multitude of genres, from music, movies, television shows and even clothing lines...

LL Cool J is generally flawless and Brad Paisley is pretty precious. But when you put them together to sing and rap about racism, it gets a little weird.

We got a little jolt of excitement for LL Cool J’s new album ‘Authentic’ when he hosted the Grammys back in February. This will be LL's first new release since 2008’s ‘Exit 13,’ and we kinda feel like it’s about time. We're also getting little Twitter teasers that indicate that none other than Eddie Van Halen may show up on the album, too.

Perhaps you hadn’t noticed, but the Grammy Awards have been operating without a host for the last seven years. That’s long enough as far as the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences is concerned, and to prove it, they’ve gone out and enlisted the services of all-world MC LL Cool J, who has spent the last four years hosting the Grammys’ live nominations concert show.
