Casper is a lot of things, but a "big city" is not one of them. Because of this, we miss out on a lot of 'festivals' and what-not that most big cities have. We've got Beartrap Summer Festival, and NicFest. The good news is, both of these events rock and remind me exactly how much I love living in our humble city. Our friend Clay Anthony at the Nicolaysen Art Museum asked us to pass along that they are still open - even though road construction has got the area around it jumbled up a bit.  Kimball and Collins streets are closed - but the Nic is open for business with several great exhibits, in addition to the Discovery Center and Museum Shop.  Here's the best way to get in, if you'd like to pay 'em a visit:
