What up people? What a crazy week for football! I certainly didn’t think the Bengals would come out on top of the Giants; I did think that Atlanta was due for a loss, and they got one. I bet there will be fans chanting for Tebow this weekend when the Jets play the Rams.

A lot of concussions this past weekend; Alex Smith went out, Mike Vick went out and Jay Cutler suffered one as well. Pretty scary stuff and the season is winding down and players need to be at the top of their game.

The Broncos are rolling! Peyton just keeps on going; I knew he would be a huge asset when they signed him. His expertise and desire to win is contagious. Go Broncos!

Big games I see for the upcoming week are: Packers at the Lions; Green Bay will be coming off of a bye week and the Lions will be hungry for a win after losing to the Vikings.

The Chargers are under fire after their loss to Tampa Bay and they play in Denver, another division rival. I say that will definitely be an awesome game!

Another interesting game will be Indianapolis going to play the Pats. This will be a true test for Andrew Luck going against Tom Brady and company.

In the AFC we will have another classic rivalry with the Ravens and Steelers going head to head. Pittsburgh won’t have much of a rest after playing Kansas City Monday night, so they will need to be on top of their game, especially since the Ravens are riding high after throttling the Raiders last weekend.

Then for our next Monday night game, we will have the Bears playing the Niner’s. Both quarterbacks suffered a concussion last weekend. As of this writing, Alex Smith is projected to start, but I haven’t heard about Jay Cutler.

The game that ended in a tie may prove to be a thorn in the side of the head coaches for the Niners and Rams. That overtime was sad. I don’t think anybody had a sense of urgency or desire to win the game at that point, and I also don’t think anybody realized that the game could even end in a tie. Oh well, you win some you lose some and some you tie…

Should be another great week of football, I love it!

In the college arena, The Pokes got a win against New Mexico and the Huskers prevailed over Penn State. Wyoming will be playing away again this weekend when they travel to Las Vegas and the Huskers will face Minnesota at home.

That’s just my opinion, keep it real!
