Tonight at 7pm (MST) is going to be one for the history books. The Denver Nuggets' new head coach, Brian Shaw, will be going up against his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, for the first time in the regular season. Shaw has a vivid past with the Lakers, both as a player and as an assistant coach.

Neither Denver or L.A. have been having a stellar year thus far. The Nuggets are 2-4, while the Lakers are 4-5. On a positive note for Denver, the injured forward Wilson Chandler is set to return. That is a definite plus with starting small forward Danilo Gallinari still on the injured reserve list.

Best of luck to the Nuggets tonight. The will be at the Pepsi Center. Let's hope that hometown love gives them that extra boost.
