The Garden Creek area of Casper is one of the most beautiful and sought after places to live.

It's backdrop of Casper Mountain and the surrounding vistas reaching upwards to make a heavenly view.

There's also a history of flooding that killed four persons back in July of 1891.

From this place the water followed the course of the creek and demolished everything in its path. Judging from water marks, a volume of water forty feet high and thirty rods wide must have passed a narrow defile about 2 miles form the mountain proper.

One can only imagine the landscape of Garden Creek in 1891, however it's beauty wasn't lost on the victims. They are referred to as pleasure seekers. Showing Garden Creek has always been a place to capture the eye.
