A big three-day Wyoming weekend is almost here!  We scouted around town for some of the weekend's best entertainment bets if you're looking for ways to entertain the family.  Anything we missed?  Leave it in the comments below!

Friday:

11th Annual "Cruzin' With The Oldies" weekend brings a lot of cool cars and events to town over the long weekend, starting today with the Mustang show over at Greiner Ford, at 3333 CY.  Runs noon 'til 5.

Wyoming Cavalry vs. Colorado Ice.  Big night of indoor football at the Casper Events Center - as the #1 team in the conference and #2 team in the league make their way to town.  Wyoming Cavalry have a big score to settle with the Ice, and would love to knock these guys off the perch - so it's a pretty safe bet Coach Majick will have the team ready to play.  Colorado will be bringing a ton of fans on the road trip, so hopefully Casper fans make a strong showing.  577-3030 for ticket info, or get 'em at the door.

If you're more into fur than football - the Central Wyoming Kennel Club along with the American Kennel Club are hosting a two-day dog show & competition at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds Arena.  Runs 8-4 Friday and Saturday - and over 600 dogs from the U.S. and Canada will be competing.  Come root on your favorite breeds as dogs and their handlers compete in conformation competition, herding, obedience, rally trials, and junior showmanship.  For more info, 265-6113 or centralwyomingkennelclub.org.

Saturday:

BIG night of Roller Derby out at the Fairgrounds Industrial Building with Casper's own A'Salt Creek Roller Girls facing off in a doubleheader vs. the Rushmore Rollerz from Rapid City, South Dakota - and the Madhouse Madams from Spearfish, SD.  Wouldn't miss this one - when one opponent comes to town it's action-packed, but on the doubleheader nights it's really non-stop.  Tickets available at Sonic Rainbow in advance, from your favorite Roller Girl, or at the door on Saturday night.  Doors at 6, first bout starts at 7.  Official after-party will be at the Moonlight - where ACRG will also be hanging out on Friday afternoon from 4-9, with the debut of their new 2011/2012 photo calendar, and some special advance ticket deals.

More Cruzin' With The Oldies fun on Saturday with the Motorcycle Show going on at the Yellowstone Garage from 10-2.  From 11 until 2:30 is the West Yellowstone Corridor Cruise-In - which gets started at 355 West Yellowstone, and runs along Elm Street to Midwest Avenue.  From 4:30 'til 6:30, the flag ceremony and parade that starts at Yellowstone Garage, and proceeds up Second Street to Washington Park, if you'd like to stake out a good spot to view all the sweet rides along the parade route.  At 8pm, there's a street dance with "The Avengers" performing at the Yellowstone Garage - which is free, but they will be taking donations for Central Wyoming Hospice.   234-3236 for all things "Cruzin'", or check their full schedule at cruizinwiththeoldies.com.

Sunday:

Great opportunity to get up-close with your favorite cars from Saturday's parades & cruises - during the Show And Shine at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds.  Runs from 9-3.

Monday:

Great day to spend with your family, and remembering the real reason behind our three-day weekend - those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and gave their lives in military service to our country.  Governor Mead will be the featured speaker at the annual Memorial Day observance out at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, beginning at 11am.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend, from all of us at 104.7 KISS-FM!
