For this week's Throwback Thursday video I had to reach deep in the vault (1995 to be exact). As the Wu-Tang Clan is my all time favorite group, I decided to spotlight one of their most prolific members: Method Man.

Method Man a.k.a. Meth Tical or even the Ticallion Stallion was the first member of the Wu to release a solo album. Meth, born Clifford Smith, released his debut album 'Tical', which peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. The album was mainly produced by the mastermind of the Clan (or the abbot), RZA. Tical sparked two major singles, 'Bring The Pain' and the Mary J Blige assisted 'All I Need' (often stylized: I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By). That single will forever be known as Method's breakout hit that catapulted him in to stardom.

Although Method Man is still making music, his main source of income comes from acting roles, whether small or large screen and even doing animated voice over work. That's quite a resume Meth! You're still one of the best lyricists on the planet.
