Throwback Thursday: Xscape [VIDEO]

For this week's Throwback Thursday video, we take it back to the So-So Def music days with Xscape.

This quartet of ladies burst into the scene in 1992 after catching the eyes of Jermaine Dupri, (who in addition to being a producer extraordinaire, also brought his So-So Def record label to prominence finding talent and writing hits for Kris Kross and Da Brat). Xscape's core members are/were Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle (the future wife of rapper T.I.) and sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott.

Xscape was one of my favorite R&B groups of that era and "Just Kickin' It" was the main reason. I personally like the remix a little better, but here are both versions of the song & video so you can decide for yourself.
