A semi carrying several dozen bales of hay, ended up going too fast on a turn, and spilled its cargo.

The Casper Police Department says sometime before 9am on Thursday, October 27th, the semi was heading east on 1st Street, and was turning left onto Poplar Street.

The load shifted in mid-turn and a defective pin caused the trailer to unhook from the truck.

Most of the cargo was secured.

No injuries have been reported.

The Police Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol are investigating speed and wind as contributing factors in this incident.
