A Cheyenne woman wanted for felony aggravated assault with a vehicle has been captured.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Justin Stevenson says 31-year-old Julia Tate turned herself into the Laramie County Jail Thursday night.

"She'd gotten in a fight with some neighbors and at the end of the fight she took off in the car and one of the people that she was in a fight with, she pinned them against a trash can as she went to leave and injured them pretty badly," said Stephenson. "We had received tips on her location and spoken with people that we knew may have had some contact with her and so she finally came and turned herself in."

Tate is being held on a $10,000 cash bond. She has been charged with aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon and could face up to ten years in prison if convicted. Tate is scheduled to make her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, October 6, at 9:45 a.m.
