With less then a month until the official release date for Eminem's eighth studio album entitled, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, the 40-year-old Detroit rap veteran has released the second single and subsequent music video for "Survival". The song was produced by DJ Khalil and features vocals from the New Royales' Liz Rodrigues.

The video highlights Slim Shady dressed in certain gear that very closely resembles avatar attire from the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts video game, which is no surprise, considering it was featured in the commercial trailer. Also, by pre-ordering COD: Ghosts, consumers will receive a coupon that will entitle them to purchase the The Marshall Mathers LP 2 at a discounted price of $8.99 that includes an exclusive studio track (which is "Survival") that won't be available on the retail version. That also has me wondering whether or not the skin/outfit Em is wearing in the video will wind up being downloadable content for the game.

Regardless, "Survival" sees Mr. Shady going back to his more Hip-Hop/lyrically days, which a lot of critics are stating he's going back to his roots... as in before stardom. No matter what, you can guarantee everyone will: "Remember, remember, the fifth of November".
