The 2017 Solar Eclipse will be crossing the Wyoming sky on the morning of August 21st, 2017.

The weather channel names Casper, WY as the 2nd best place in the US to view the eclipse.  But they also refer to Casper as "The REMOTE Town of Casper".

Don't we have a major US highway and an International Airport?  Other than being a 4 hour drive from the nearest MAJOR metropolitan city, how are we "REMOTE"?  It made us laugh in the office! I guess they don't know that real remote towns like Hanna, Wyoming refer to us as the "Big City".

If you haven't started planning for this summer's Solar Eclipse, you might want to make plans sooner than later.  Casper and other locations along the "Zero Line" are going to draw a lot of attention and there are hopes for thousands of visitors to our "Remote" city.
