Here's one of the many reasons why we are lucky to live in Wyoming. You never know when forest rangers will accidentally discover a brand new lake.

That's what happened this week when officials in the Bridger-Teton National Forest were looking for wildfires. Instead, they noticed a landslide that has formed a 20 acre lake estimated to be 30 to 40 feet deep.

Which begs the question, what should we call Wyoming's new lake?

We could name it for one of the Cowboy State's most prominent residents, like Dick Cheney, Chris LeDoux, Jackson Pollack or Harrison Ford. Then again, Landslide Lake has a nice ring to it.
