A winter storm will impact all of Wyoming today and into Wednesday morning. Poor travel weather will develop rapidly today and cold air filters in from the north and changes rain to all snow across central, southern and eastern Wyoming. Snow will become heavy at times this afternoon and into the evening hours across central Wyoming spreading south into the I-80 corridor of Wyoming by tonight through Wednesday morning. Snowfall across the lower elevations of central and southern Wyoming will range from four to eight inches with many of the mountain areas receiving eight to twelve inches or more. Expect icy roads and highways and areas of blowing snow by late this afternoon and into tonight. Snowfall will be lighter in the far northeast and northwest areas of the state.
