The sun won't be the only thing "blacking out" on August 21st. Two local distilleries are cashing in on the eclipse craze with vodka and whiskey.

Casper's Backwards Distilling recently released their 307 Vodka Eclipse Edition 2017, which features the image of a solar eclipse on the label. It's retails for just over $20 per bottle and is available at liquor stores across the state. The distillery will also be hosting an eclipse viewing party on the 21st.

Meanwhile, Wyoming Whiskey has created an Eclipse Edition Small Batch Bourbon for the occasion. Only 24 barrells were made and each numbered bottle features a commemorative black canister. They are being sold for $45 per bottle.

For beer lovers, Wyoming's Snake River Brewery is toasting the path of totality with Eclipse Ale, which is described as “refreshing summer ale” with 40 IBU and 5.2 percent alcohol by volume.
