Wyoming is Home to Largest Wolf Pack in the West

Wyoming is home to the largest wolf pack in the west with a number of 24 with a double litter. There were 24 wolves in the pack, dubbed the Lava Mountain Pack approximately 30 miles northeast of Jackson. That's nine more than any other pack recently surveyed in Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Washington or Wyoming, making it the largest in the west. First documented in 2008, the Lava Mountain Pack was already the largest pack in Wyoming. Then, two litters of pups were born in 2014.
