Forbes.com has announced the results of their  annual top 10 states to make a living in 2015 and Wyoming is in the top 5.

The results were based on more than just jobs and the economy of each state.  The study took in to consideration the average wages, taxes, cost of living, unemployment rate as well as workplace safety.

Last year, Washington state was the top place to live and make a living and in 2015 they've dropped to #2 and Texas stepped up from #2 to the top spot.  The Rocky Mountain region has 4 states that made the list including, Washington, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming.

Here are the top 10 best states to make a living for 2015.

1 - Texas

2 - Washington

3 - Wyoming

4 - Virginia

5 - Illinois

6 - Michigan

7 - Colorado

8 - Delaware

9 - Ohio

10 - Utah
