A 41-year-old Wyoming man is dead after his pickup truck rolled multiple times, throwing him from the vehicle.

Arthur Perez was not wearing his seat belt, according to a crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Per the crash report, Perez was westbound on Highway 336 toward Sheridan shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday. At milepost 4.5, Perez failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the road and exited the highway to the right.

The passenger-side tires hit the guardrail as the Dodge pickup continued off the roadway to the highway's intersection with Lower Prairie Dog Road, where the pickup vaulted over the road.

The Dodge hit the round on the west side of Lower Prairie Dog Road and Perez lost control of the vehicle, which began rocking back and forth between the driver- and passenger-side tires. The Dodge then went into a spin before it rolled two and a half times, coming to rest on its roof after going through a right-of-way fence.

Perez was thrown from the vehicle as it rolled.

The crash report does not list any possible contributing factors. The road surface was dry and weather was clear at the time of the crash.
