We knew that Josh Allen is going to be highly coveted by an NFL team wanting a quarterback, but have you been watching his stock rise daily over the holidays? He's currently projected as the 3rd overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Last year's 3rd overall pick, San Diego Chargers Defensive End Joey Bosa signed a $26 million contract with over $17 million GUARANTEED.

Who in their right mind would pass up $17 million GUARANTEED?

IF Allen stayed in school, risking injury, his draft stock could only rise 2 spots. Last year's #1 pick Jerad Goff got $18.5 guaranteed. Simply put, the risk outweighs the reward. One injury could cost him millions.

Josh Allen would be a fool to stay in school. Sure, his skills are raw, but he will learn more sitting on the bench in the NFL than he would in college. And he probably won't be sitting on the bench for that long.

This might be considered bad news for Wyoming in the short term. However, after coaching last year's 2nd overall pick Carson Wentz, and next year's presumed 3rd overall pick, Josh, it is likely that young quarterbacks will be lining up to play for Wyoming coach Craig Bohl.

Why do kids go to college? To prepare them for a career. If the NFL doesn't work out, Allen will have plenty of money to go back to school - even with today's tuition.
