According to a recent study conducted by WalletHub, Wyoming ranked #1 in the country for the state with the most racial progress. The ranking measures the levels of racial progress achieved over time, using key factors such as:

  • Employment & Wealth
  • Education
  • Social & Civic Engagement
  • Health

The Cowboy State scored high across the board, earning first in overall rankings, as well as education and social & civic engagement.

Other info that was included in the study was a Pew Research survey which found that 58% of Americans think increasing diversity makes the U.S. a better place, while only 9% say it makes the U.S. a worse place. 31% think it makes no difference.
