The Casper Events Center, Casper Star-Tribune Communications, and Townsquare Media are pleased to present the 9th Annual Wyoming Women’s Expo at the Casper Events Center on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5.

This year’s show is about inspiring women to Live, Love and Sparkle! We want to make each woman who attends the Wyoming Women’s Expo feel that she has had the opportunity to gain insights, products, and services that enhance her life. This year, we are striving to help our attendees feel beautiful with the brand new Sparkle Spa! We will be offering free spa services on Saturday, October 5th that will leave our guests “sparkling”.

For two days, the Wyoming Women’s Expo brings women together to experience unique shopping, pampering and a variety of products and services that help them live a better life; products and services that help women to live, love and sparkle. Packed with a variety of exhibitors covering beauty, health, finance, career, home, food, and special events, the Expo has a very broad appeal.

The goal is to make a difference in women’s lives by presenting resources that will help them flourish and succeed in all aspects of their lives. We want to provide women with the opportunity to network and visit exhibitors to explore products and services that influence them and their families.

We strive to make each year a fantastic experience by keeping the elements that women continue to enjoy, while changing up the pieces that keep you coming back for more!
Luncheon and Professional Development Day

Join us on Friday, October 4 from 12:00 pm to 3:45 pm for a day of Professional Development designed for women. Doors will open at 11:30 am. Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon.

This year kicks off with luncheon Keynote Speaker Cindy Bigner of Halliburton. Cindy’s presentation “The Most Contagious Force in the Workplace Today…Attitude” will begin at 12:30 pm.

One of the most contagious conditions in the workplace today is attitude. How anyone walks into a room or into a meeting will often set the tone for the day for the entire team. Displaying a positive attitude starts with self-awareness. Before you walk out of your office or your home and start interacting with others, consider the following:

• How do I want people to experience me?• How will I show my positive attitude? • How can I maintain a realistic and optimistic mindset even in the face of challenges?

There will be a brief break from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm where attendees can take advantage of our Coffee Bar and fantastic view of Casper and Casper Mountain on the Concourse Level.

Our 2:00 pm speaker will be local author and business owner Linda Crowder who will take us on a seven step journey Beyond Goals – Stop Making Lists and Start Making it Happen.
Whether you want to plan an event, change your career or finally lose those last 20 pounds we are all great at setting goals.

Go to any gym in January and you’ll see just how great we are at launching ourselves down a new and exciting path. Come back in March and you’ll practically have the place to yourself.

Setting goals is easy – what we struggle with is ACHIEVING them! Based on her book, Life Isn’t Just Luck, Crowder will show us not only how to set goals but how to break through the avalanche of obstacles that stand between where we are and where we want to be.
Linda will examine….

• The Fear of Failing • Balancing Risk with Reward • Perfect Isn’t Possible • Are We There Yet? • Celebrate and Evaluate

Linda will be on hand during the afternoon if you would like to purchase autographed copies of her books.

There will be a brief break from 2:45 pm to 3:00 pm.

Our 3:00 pm speaker is Melinda McClelland. Melinda will present Get More Done and Have More Fun: Simple Strategies for Your Workplace. In the workplace, many of us feel over-burdened with the workload, and I’ve never met anyone who finds that enjoyable! Some of us are fortunate to have a reasonable workload most days, yet still not ‘enjoy’ the workplace. Not every job can be truly ‘fun,’ but most can be more manageable, and more fun, if we pay attention to something we tend to take for granted—communication.

Instead of thinking of communication as something we DO, let’s think of communication as a tool we USE. If we apply some simple strategies to how we USE communication, we can be amazed at the results. We can improve our productivity, and our job satisfaction. We’ll look at a few strategies for using communication to get more done, and to have more fun!
First Lady, Carol Mead will give the closing remarks at 3:30 pm.
Lunch will include: Baked Breast of Chicken with Cranberry Glaze and Salad with Choice of Dressing, Rice Pilaf, California Blend Vegetables, Roll and Butter with Iced Tea, Coffee and Water Service.
