Just in time for this weekend's Daytona 500, we're waving the green flag and hitting the gas. Here a few of Wyoming's best drivers. Let's go racing!!!

Daniel Andrews - Raised in Casper and Cody, Andrews now calls Laramie home. He started racing at the age of 12 and, in 2014, he became the first Wyoming driver to earn a spot on the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

Zac Taylor - At the tender age of 17, the pride of Green River is an up-and-coming sprint car driver. Last month, he competed in the 2016 Chili Bowl Nationals in Oklahoma and plans to race in the World Of Outlaws series throughout the year.

Jason Schierkolk - This Casper native sped by the competition in 2015, winning the points title for Late Models at Casper Speedway.

The Phelps Family - Alan and Natalie Phelps are part of a father-daughter racing team based in Cheyenne. Natalie started racing at the age of 14, winning the Big Country Speedway Rookie of the Year Award in 2013. Together, she and her dad are regular fixtures at the Big Country Speedway in Cheyenne and I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Richard Petty - Arguably the greatest driver of all-time, the seven-time NASCAR points champion and Hall of Famer is also a part-time Wyoming resident. In 1993, Petty purchased a ranch in the Bridger-Teton National Forrest, just south of Jackson. Fittingly, The King's 90-acre compound is called "Winner's Retreat".
