The football players at Kaycee High School know better than to get in trouble. After all, their own coach could throw them in jail.

USA Today just released the 2016 All-USA Wyoming Football Team. Their choice for Coach of the Year is a man who gives new meaning to the term "Friday Night Lights", Kaycee Police Chief Lee Kemmers.

Kemmers has been on the Kaycee coaching staff since the football program was reintroduced in 2009.

In 2012, he launched a new career, joining the Casper Police Department. Kemmers continued to coach football while commuting over an hour to work every day until he was approached to take over as Kaycee's Chief of Police.

Since being named head football coach in 2015, Kemmers and the Buckaroos have gone 21-1, winning back-to-back Class 1 A Six Man titles.

If Kemmers' cops are as good as his football team is, the fine folks of Kaycee, Wyoming, are in safe hands.
