If you were to google this sometimes it says Buford, Wyoming is the smallest with a population of 60. After digging a little more, there is actually a smaller town/area in Wyoming.

Located in Converse County and the last marked number for the city population was 4. I am talking about Lost Springs, Wyoming.

4 people? There is a post office according to the map. At one point it was a boom town of 200 people, most who worked in a nearby coal mine. I guess it was named "Lost Spring" because the surveyors could not locate the so called spring that was on the map. I wonder if they ever located it or where it use to be?
