Central Wyoming Rescue Mission (CWRM) is offering assistance to those affected by Sunday’s Cole Creek fire in Casper.  The fire destroyed at least ten homes and several outbuildings and forced hundreds to evacuate their homes.

CWRM will provide shelter, food, clothing and household goods to those affected by the fires.  Those in need of food and shelter are asked to come directly to CWRM or contact Chris Darr at 307-473-6942 or email at cdarr@cwrm.org.

Vouchers to CWRM’s Rescued Treasures Thrift Store will be given to those affected by the fires who are in need of clothing and other household goods.  Vouchers can be obtained at Rescued Treasures Thrift Store located at 330 N. Durbin Street in Casper, Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Today's relief efforts on behalf of those who have been devastated by this weeks massive Cole Creek fire were successful beyond our wildest dreams. CASPER - A distribution of items collected during Townsquare Media’s 5-hour Cole Creek Fire Relief Drive will take place Tuesday, October 13th, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Lifesteps Campus located at 1514 East 12th Street, between Conwell and Beverly streets. [MAP]

Thanks to the community efforts and moving truck use from Lisa Burridge & Associates, Michele Trost Hall Real Estate Team, Bromley Real Estate, Habitat for Humanity with staff volunteers from Casper Housing Authority, all led by Townsquare Media, four moving vans were stuffed with relief items, and are ready to go out to those affected by the fire. All monetary donations are given to the American Red Cross to help offset the cost of housing fire victims as well as other purchases related to the fire victims.

If you have been affected by the fire, and are in need of assistance with obtaining items like bottled water, food, toiletries, paper products, or home goods, please come to Lifesteps Campus, 1514 East 12th Street, directly by the entrance to the campus between 10 and 2pm Tuesday.

Please be prepared to have some proof of residency (ID with address, insurance card, etc.), we are prepared to look up your residency if possible, with your ID and will do everything in our power to make sure you leave with resources.
