What started out as a simply day of fun in the snow turned into a nightmare when their Jeep overturned when it rolled up on a berm on the snow trail in the Nevada Wilderness.

They had heavy winter clothing, food, water and relied on good instincts to stay alive for two nights. They burned a tire from the vehicle and warmed rocks to keep the four children warm. First and foremost, they never left the overturned Jeep, which is rule one for emergency survival.
