Its Friday…the 13th…EEEEK! So would you have known that it was Friday the 13th if we hadn’t told you? Some people say yes! Some people are so fearful of Friday the 13th, they’ll actually call in sick, and just stay home, praying that something bad doesn’t happen to them. But why? Where did all the superstition about Friday the 13th come from?

You’ve probably seen the footage of the memorial service for Nelson Mandela, of a sign language interpreter who they had on hand to translate for the hearing impaired, however, it turned out that this interpreter was a fake! But what was the guy who was “impersonating” an interpreter actually saying through his sign language?

Have we gone a little over the top when it comes to zero tolerance in schools? A little 6 year old Colorado boy named Hunter was suspended for a day for kissing a little girl on the hand during reading class. Sounds innocent enough, however they suspended him for a day with serious charges on his record, sexual harassment!

Here’s a shocker, when it comes to the holidays, we Americans shell out $5-BILLION dollars a year for Christmas gifts for our pets…OUR PETS??? Are you one of them?

Most kids say they want all the “tech” gadgets for Christmas this year, anything from the I-Pads to the latest X-Box. But remember back in the day when you couldn’t wait for Santa to bring you that Easy Bake Oven, (nothing like cooking a cake using a 75 watt lighbulb) or how about those Power Ranger action figures. Anything made from companies like Fisher Price, Hasbro Mattel or Wamm-O, were big hits for we kids of the baby boom! Which toy do you remember the most?

So, what’s in the lyrics of a song? I think in this case it’s not so much the lyrics but who wrote them that was priceless, or in this case, pricey! Someone shelled out almost $200-thousand dollars for the lyrics that were handwritten by Bruce Springsteen himself, of one of his biggest hits, “Born To Run,” a song that the state of New Jersey really wanted to have as their state song…REALLY? Have you ever listened to the lyrics to Born To Run?”

Ron Burgundy certainly has been making the rounds, doing surprise newscasts at various stations, and just showing up at various events, all in supporting Anchorman 2!  Ron even ended up on ESPN's Sports Center, however his appearance has been postponed for some reason...

Let’s face it, we’ve all done it. We get a gift from someone that, even though it was a nice gesture, the gift, for some reason, just wasn’t our cup of tea. So do we throw it away? Certainly not, that would be wasteful. So what do we do? We find another friend who might better like the gift and give it to them, thus making us what is commonly known as “a regifter!”

But for Breaking Bad’s " bad partner" Jesse Pinkman, we saw him flying to freedom at high speeds in a vehicle, and into, or in this case, out of the darkness! But where is Jesse Pinkman now?
