I’m kinda surprised that the Furby is a hot toy this year. I was too old for it when it first came out, but I remember the madness (like seeing a dude selling one on a corner near the mall in town).
Elmo is big again too, only instead of tickling him, he hugs you.

But, it did kind of surprise me that one of our niece’s asked for the game Simon for Christmas. I figured that it would be a good $15-20 gift to get. Until my wife looked it up. $30-40 online! For SIMON! Nothing has changed about it! No LED video screen, no amazing new sound effects. Four lights. Four “boop” sounds. What the heck?
