Students and staff at Dean Morgan Junior High School were evacuated from the building Monday morning due to a "minor electrical issue," according to a statement from school district officials.

In a statement, the Natrona County School District said students were sent out to the football field as a precautionary measure.

"We will keep students out for a brief period of time only due to the weather," the district said on its Facebook page. "We are currently waiting for Fire-EMS to give the all clear to enter the building."
