Demi Lovato Viciously Slams Scathing Article About Wilmer Valderrama [NSFW]
Demi Lovato did not take kindly to a recent, shall we say, unflattering editorial piece on the Daily Beast about her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. The article, titled 'Why Women Want Hollywood Lothario Wilmer Valderrama,' proceeds to call the former 'That '70s Show' star out on his "playboy ways" and even alludes that he may have been the behind the recent nude picture leak of the two. And even worse, the news site states that he did so solely to stay on the radar.
"Yo Wilmer Valderrama's so culturally irrelevant, he relies on the commodification of his young girlfriend's body in order to re-enter the current celebrity conversation," the article boldly states.
As to be expected, Lovato was not thrilled with the vicious dig at her BF. The 21-year-old 'Neon Lights' singer didn't mince words and angrily lashed out at the online publication via Twitter, writing, "@thedailybeast such a classy 'news site' you are. Writing horrible things about people you know NOTHING about. Get a LIFE you ignorant f---s."
While Lovato does have a point -- as far as we know, the author of the article does not know Valderrama personally -- she based the piece on actual words that have come out of the 34-year-old actor's mouth, including some seriously explicit details about his sex life with his ex-girlfriends: celebs like Lindsay Lohan (whom he said is a "big fan of waxing,") Mandy Moore ("The sex with Mandy was good, but it wasn't like warm apple pie,") Ashlee Simpson (whom he dubbed "a screamer,") and Jennifer Love-Hewitt, whom he rates an "eight" on a scale of one to ten. Stay classy there, Wilmer.
Still, Valderrama revealed those details to Howard Stern eight years ago, in 2006. It's possible that he has changed since then (we hope!) and is now a more respectable boyfriend and a stand-up guy. If that's the case (and we have to point out that he was there for Lovato during her time in treatment), then we can see why she would be pissed. Plus, the article makes somewhat of a dig at her as well, implying that he is just using her to maximize his time in the spotlight. And that's just not cool.
PopCrushers, what do you think about Demi's Twitter outburst?
