The Nuggets improved their season record another notch by defending their home court last night (March 4th), with a 104 - 88 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

It was another great night for the Denver bench with Corey Brewer and JaVale McGee giving great performances defensively, as well as offensively, while Andre Miller and Wilson Chandler also had key contributions. Brewer had a game high 22 points, with 4 rebounds & 2 steals. McGee had 9 points and 4 blocks. The starters did manage to show some high energy in the end with Ty Lawson contributing 18 points and 8 assists and Kenneth Faried having another double double, with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

The Nuggets travel to Sacramento CA to battle it out with the Kings tomorrow night. The Nuggets are currently on the heels of the Memphis Grizzlies, as they battle for the number 4 seed in the playoff standings.
