Over the last few months, I've noticed some really cool machines at the Casper Natrona County International Airport, and I've shared the videos and pictures with you. The airport has been in the media a lot lately due to the Government shutdown, but they've all continued to push forward. Now, they're doing something else REALLY cool, and are back in the spotlight.

CNCIA wants to involve your elementary-aged kids in naming their new snowplow. How cool is that? Your kids' imagination could be used for good rather than evil, with a lasting impact on the airport's fleet of snow removal machines.

Contest Details:

❄Deadline – December 19, 2025
❄Who – Elementary students in Natrona County
❄What to Submit – Named snowplow template, a short paragraph of why we should choose your name, and a completed entry form including a parent/guardian signature

The Selection Process:

  • Airport staff will select 3 finalists (announced on their Facebook page)
  • The community will vote for the winner in January
  • The winner and their class will be invited to tour the airport and get to check out the snow removal equipment

This will be a fun exercise for your kids. They'll get a chance to show off that creativity by coming up with a cool name for the plow, and show off their debate and writing skills while using words to convince the panel to pick the name they chose.

You can find the complete list of rules for the contest by following this link. HERE

You can print the entry form HERE.

Good luck to your youngin!
