It's hard to believe the Casper Spuds' 2024 Independence League season is ending. It seems like just yesterday. We got a chance to meet the team at a meet & greet and then see them win over 20 in a row while winning the first-half championship.

Then they picked up where they left off in the second half, continuing their winning streak, and kept winning.

This weekend's series with the Oahe Zap will be the final regular season series. The Spud will begin the post-season Championship series on the road for two games. Then, the final three (if needed) will be here in Casper.

Since this weekend is it for the regular season, they're pulling out all of the stops. There are special promotions for each game.

Friday night is kids' night. All kids 12 and under will get in for free. If adults bring a non-perishable food item, you can also enter for free. The first 500 will get free ice cream in a special batting helmet cup.

Saturday night, there will be a fireworks display and a chance to help owner Paul Hack celebrate his 50th birthday.

On Sunday, it's a family fun day. Free hot dogs from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Tickets for this weekend's games, the championship playoff series, and tickets for the 2025 season are all on sale at SPUDSBASEBALL.COMAs a special bonus, if you go ahead and purchase your 2025 season tickets, you'll receive tickets for the championship series for free.
