Donald Trump was in Wyoming this last Saturday.

His big Boeing 757, had a mechanical problem Friday and landed in Billings instead of Bozeman. He had to take a smaller jet to Jackson Hole.

A SMALLER PLANE? Boy, that is slumming it for Trump.

He was not here for a big rally.

He already knows that most of Wyoming is going to vote for him, as the state did in the past two elections that he ran in.

This time he was in Jackson.

Some might be surprised to hear that, considering that Jackson Wyoming is one of the most liberal places in Wyoming.

But there are many conservatives there, too, and they have lots of money.

That's why Trump was there.

Fans lined the streets of Jackson Hole the former president's motorcade drove through for an event at the Four Seasons Resort.

He was there to meet with those who had paid big money to hear him speak, bigger money to have lunch with him, and a heap more money to shake their hand and have their photo taken with him.

About 200 stood in the Jackson Town Square to wave as he went by.

Jackson has money for Democrats too.

The Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz drew about 200 people to the Town Square in Jackson on Aug. 9, 2024.

A few Trump supporters shouted at the Harris supporters from across the street. Apparently, a few rude gestures were exchanged.

How much did it cost to see him?

The base price was $5,000 per person.

But you can get in with a $10,000 fundraising commitment. Perhaps if you can't raise that money then you'll be expected to cough it up yourself.

Want a photo with Trump? That would cost you $35,000 or a pledge to raise $70,000. Again, you better raise it or you'll owe it.

How about lunch with the Trumpster himself? That will be $150,000. That better be one damn good hamburger.

If you're far more serious and want to sponsor or host a committee that will cost you host committee, it will cost $250,000.

You may think that Jackson is too liberal for Trump to raise money in. But he has raised a lot of money in very liberal cities. And people with deep pockets will come from all over the state to see him.

Let's go back to the last time Trump was in Wyoming and called into Wyoming's morning talk radio program.
