Kevin Hart received the Comedic Genius Award at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.

Just in case you forgot that Kevin Hart is short, Jimmy Kimmel made sure to remind you when he paid tribute to the comedian before handing over the award. Said height jokes included, "It wasn't easy for Kevin, they said Kevin was too small to be a comedy giant...The other comedians made fun of him. They called him names like Eddie Smurphy, Cedric the Enter-tiny, Bernie Mac-Nugget." He then talked about Kevin going on to try anyway, performing at comedy clubs. He said, "When he did, they would throw little shoes at him, baby shoes."

Accepting the award, Kevin brought his two super cute kids, Heaven and Hendrix, up to the stage before launching into what turned out to be a pretty touching speech that he devoted to his children. After thanking his fiancée, his ex-wife and his son and daughter, Kevin talked about why his work is so important.

"At the end of the day, you all wonder why I work so hard," he said. "My kids are with me because this is why I do it all: For them. And I'm trying to leave a legacy behind so when it's all said and done the last name Hart means something."

He ended his speech by thanking the fans for sticking with him and continuing to support him.
