A man who allegedly broke into a Seton House apartment was arrested Friday morning after police found him asleep with four different types of drugs in his jacket.

Timothy Vincent Valin, 48, was arrested for criminal entry as well as possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, Xanax and the muscle relaxant tizanidine.

Casper police officers went to Seton House just after 7:30 a.m. Friday for a man sleeping in an apartment that was supposed to be vacant.

A social worker told officers that the previous tenant had been evicted on Tuesday. When social workers checked the apartment Friday morning to see whether any repairs were needed, they found a man sleeping on the floor in the living room.

Officers found the man, Valin, asleep and had to use a sternum rub technique to wake him up.

Valin reportedly said two people he met while on a Greyhound Bus had given him permission to sleep in the apartment. He couldn't remember their names.

Social workers told officers that Valin did not have permission to be there.

Valin was arrested and taken to jail.

During the book-in process, officers searched Valin and found a plastic bag of methamphetamine, another bag of marijuana, one pill of Xanax and one pill of tizanidine, as well as three pipes, tin foil and a white cloth.

Valin allegedly claimed he found the jacket on the bus, saying it didn't belong to him.

Court documents say Valin was previously convicted for possession of a controlled substance in 2003 and 2007.
