UPDATE:

I-80 and I-25 are now open across the entire state. Most other highways have reopened as well.

=============================================================

After being closed for over 24 hours, the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 reopened on Thursday thanks to improved weather and the hard work of WYDOT road crews.

The southbound lanes from Casper to Cheyenne remained closed as of 3 p.m. Thursday, with an estimated reopening time of roughly 5-7 p.m.

The newly reopened northbound lanes are largely wet and slick in spots, with blowing snow in some areas. Between Glendo and Casper, the northbound lanes are slick with blowing snow, according to WYDOT.

In southern Wyoming, I-80 is expected to remain closed overnight between Cheyenne and Rawlins.

Between Rawlins and the Utah state line, the westbound lanes are now open, though some areas are slick or wet. The eastbound lanes between Rawlins and Utah were also expected to remain closed overnight Thursday into Friday.
