SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT UNTIL 4AM MDT SUN

Snow coming to the area Sunday through Monday. A large Pacific low pressure trough moving inland along the Pacific Northwest coast will move rapidly east tonight and Sunday moving across western Wyoming Sunday afternoon.

Moisture in the southwest flow aloft is becoming limited as colder dry air moves through the trough. This is expected to limit snowfall through Sunday. Behind the trough colder air will move in Sunday night and Monday. Snowfall of 2 to 4 inches below 7000 feet with 4 to 8 inches above 7000 feet is expected by Monday afternoon.
