Police in Rock Springs say they arrested a pair of juveniles following a Monday crime spree that included stealing two cars and a handgun, multiple auto burglaries, firing several shots, damaging public and private property, committing a hit-and-run, and leading police on a foot chase...

The Casper Police Department said these two incidents highlight an urgent public safety threat.

Department spokeswoman Rebekah Ladd said the burglaries took place in hotel parking lots on the east side.

Similar auto burglaries have been reported out of Cheyenne recently, also with a suspicious white sedan in the area at the time of each crime.

According to an arrest affidavit, events in the case began three days prior when a Casper detective was called to investigate a recovered stolen van. Robinson was the driver.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or Monday's incidents is asked to call the Casper Police Department at 235-8278.

The officer reviewed surveillance video from the salon and, based on previous encounters with him, identified the suspect as Heidekrueger.

Over the past week, there have been several auto burglaries in neighborhoods around the Wyoming Medical Center.

Casper police arrested two juveniles for breaking into four vehicles in Casper and one in Mills, Lt. Chris Hadlock said Thursday.

Between March 21st and April 21st, the Casper Police Department has taken 36 auto burglary reports. A majority of these have occurred on the west side of Casper, especially in the tree street areas. The Casper Police Department would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles AT ALL TIMES!
