Backwards Distilling Company in Casper is hosting a 'Yappy Hour' fundraiser for the Casper Humane Society.

The Casper Humane Society currently has 26 dogs available for adoption. We have gathered their photos and little biographies below. There are puppies, and grizzled veterans, and everything in between - all of them need a home.

It's called 'Whiskers and Meows Cat Café' and, as the name implies, it's part drink-shop, part cat rescue. It's also the first cat café in Wyoming.

Authorities are responding to an increased number of missing dog reports in the Casper area. Valerie Kulhavy with Wyoming Missing Canines says the Casper area could be a hub for a regional dognapping and reselling ring, and downtown Casper dog-owners have been hit especially hard since the start of 2013...

Bruce came to the shelter because his owners left him behind. He is a friendly and energetic young dog.

Spike came to the shelter with his friend, Bink because their owner could no longer keep them. Spike is a friendly and protective guy. He is playful and active.

Snipe is a lab/pointer mix and is available from the Casper Himane Society.
